Going Green While Getting Clean: The L'Avant Collective Approach

Today we’re talking cleaning products. Specifically, the process of developing and manufacturing eco-friendly, safe-for-our-skin cleaning products, with Kristi Lord and Lindsay Droz, co-founders of L’Avant Collective. Like many of us, they wanted a plant based alternative that actually worked as well as the chemical laden products we’ve been using. So they decided to do something about it! We also talk about the power of scent when it comes to motivating us to deep clean our homes and the ways in which you can use their multipurpose cleaner for unusual spring cleaning tasks. Even though I clearly love what they’re doing and would personally recommend trying out their products, it’s not an ad, it’s real!

KEY TAKEAWAYS

As we navigate the complexities of modern living, the importance of creating a safe and environmentally friendly home environment becomes increasingly evident. In a world where health and wellness take center stage, the choices we make in the products we use can significantly impact our well-being. Today, I want to share with you the journey and innovative approach of Kristi Lord and Lindsay Droz, co-founders of L’Avant Collective, a brand that is revolutionizing the cleaning product industry.

The Why Behind L’Avant Collective

Kristi and Lindsay's friendship blossomed into a partnership fueled by personal experiences with skin allergies and the toxic ingredients found in common household cleaners that drove them to craft a line of products that are effective, safe, and environmentally friendly.

Clean Living, Inside and Out

The mission of L'Avant Collective is found at the intersection of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability in their product development. From refillable glass bottles to carefully curated fragrance profiles, every aspect of their products reflects a deep commitment to creating a truly eco-conscious cleaning experience.

Transparency and Education

L'Avant Collective goes beyond just offering products; they are advocates for transparency in the cleaning industry. By shedding light on the potential harms of conventional cleaning products and promoting awareness about safer alternatives, they empower consumers to make informed choices for their homes.

Nurturing a Home Sanctuary

In a post-COVID world where our homes have become sanctuaries, the act of cleaning and caring for our living spaces takes on a new significance. L'Avant Collective's products not only transform the cleaning routine into a sensorial experience but also foster a sense of gratitude for the spaces we inhabit.

Additional Ways to Use Their Products

Kristi and Lindsay shared some on tips how to use their everyday products on tougher, spring cleaning tasks:

  • Use the surface cleaner to get out upholstery stains

  • Use the dish soap, mixed with a little vinegar, to kill weeds

  • Use the hand soap, mixed with a little turbinado sugar in your palm to create an exfoliating scrub in the shower.

As we embark on our spring cleaning rituals, let's take a cue from L'Avant Collective and approach the task with a renewed perspective. Let's embrace the opportunity to create a clean, safe, and beautiful home environment that nourishes both our bodies and our spirits. By choosing products that prioritize health, sustainability, and innovation, we can contribute to a brighter and healthier future for ourselves and the planet.

Their story reminds us that every choice we make – even in something as mundane as cleaning – has the power to shape a healthier and more sustainable world.
