Got a room that’s just not working?

Guess what? It’s not money, time, or a lack of creative know-how that’s in your way.

So why is this so hard?

You know your room has potential, but…

You’re stuck and you don’t know where to focus your attention, what to do first, and you’re worried about making expensive mistakes!

Plus, you really want the room to feel cohesive.

You’ve got sentimental objects to incorporate, furniture you already own and new things you want to purchase.

How do mere mortals make “eclectic” styles work?

So what are your choices?

COPY WHAT YOU SEE?

The inspiration just isn’t there! The probelm with HGTV is that every makeover looks the same. The stuff on Pinterest looks generic. The Instagram posts by fabulous designers feel unattainable. You want your rooms to be a mix of things you love, but still feel cohesive. Where are the models for this kind of decorating?

GO IT ALONE?

Been there, done that. You’ve tried to fix things on your own. You were hoping a few purchases would “pull the room together” but instead, it still feels off and you’ve got buyer’s remorse. You’ve got some ideas but it would be so helpful to get another set of eyes on your space. Someone who’s advice you trust.

HIRE IT OUT?

First of all, finding the right designer who really gets your style AND is within your budget? Where do you even start? And do you really want to spend $500/hour before you even purchase anything? Plus, you actually love design and would rather do this yourself! You’re itching to get creative, but you’re afraid to pull the trigger on your ideas. The last thing you want is to regret your choices.

Thankfully, there’s another option.

It’s called

Master The Mix.

Imagine a room that…

is layered with the perfect palates of color, pattern and materials that you adore.

is aligned with your lifestyle while fully representing your personality and aesthetic preferences.

is arranged to maximize space and uses easy-to-maintain organizational systems.

starts with what you already have and has an action plan for adding layers going forward, according to your budget.

The problem is that inspiration for room makeovers comes from what’s “in,” advising you to buy lots of new accessories without solving the real problems.

Master The Mix is different.

In just 4 weeks, transform your room into something that looks like no one else’s and feels exactly like YOU.

Starting February 10!

COURSE OUTLINE

  • Week 1

We’ll have a 1:1 meeting where you’ll share your room with me. We’ll identify problems and make sure we’ve got clarity on what you want and why you want it. We’ll discuss your inspirational starting point and how to choose one. I’ll also show you how to do your homework for the following week: create a style brief and moodboard.

  • Week 2

On a group call, we’ll go over everyone’s inspirational starting point, style brief and moodboards. I’ll share specific ways to translate these into design choices. I’ll ask each of you to show us what you already have to work with. Your homework for this week will be to nail down your floor plan and start moving things around.

  • Weeks 3 & 4

You’ll implement your design decisions on color, pattern and material palates. This may involve hanging or framing something, adding a natural element, painting a wall, recovering a cushion, or going on an antiques and thrifting excursion. We’ll have 2 more group calls (1 each week). And then, we’ll CELEBRATE your room!

The course starts the week of February 10.

The specific day and time we meet will be determined based on the best scheduling option for the majority of the group.

All meetings will be recorded and available for replay.

If you can’t make the meetings live, you can share photos and ask questions ahead of time and they’ll be answered during the meeting.

Every question will be answered. Everyone will get personalized attention!

What My Clients Are Saying

The initial virtual session with Zandra helped me to focus my efforts and become more aware of my “signature” style. One room at a time, Zandra's expertise and input gave me the confidence to move forward with making the changes I needed!”

— Barbara B, New York

“I love that Zandra encourages us to use things we already have and to see those things in a new light. Her advice is refreshing, helpful, & so relevant. This is for real life, real homes, and real families!”

— Tracy W, Pennsylvania

The thing I like best is that Zandra gives you a reason to try new things. I've learned that interiors need patience and a willingness to make mistakes. She teaches us how to think and act creatively, without spending a ton of money.”

— Mamen I, Madrid, Spain

“In one of my favorite projects, I really started to understand color combinations differently, to consider pattern, and to become better at translating inspiration from nature into my home.”

— Susan M, California

Hi, I’m Zandra.

30 years ago, I began uncovering my own signature style and developing my eye for design by paying close attention to the masters.

I started an interview based podcast to answer the question, “why does style matter?” That podcast now has over 1 million downloads and I’ve taught hundreds of people how to transform their spaces into their self-defined dream homes.

My Slow Style Home Framework has led to the release of my first book, which will be available May 20, 2025.

At the end of Master The Mix, you’ll have
